IAHV one of the first organizations to reach the affected areas
including slums and villages.
IAHV given the full responsibility to rehabilitate 5 villages,
Una, Kharvasa, Sachin, Parvat and Khumbaria, (wherein Una is the worst affacted
area) by the Government of Gujarat.
Daily food and water packets were delivered to 15 - 17 affected
areas.
Additional 1,05,000 water pouches and 25,000 food packets were
donated by IAHV for the surrounding areas of Baroda
Organized 3-4 medical camps daily. Approx. 1800 people received
treatments at these camps daily.
Sanitation was repaired.
IAHV and Art of living were recognized with Sewa Sanman award
(Respect to service) by five major groups in Surat, Terapanth yuvak parishat, Agarwal
Vikas Trust, Mohanlal Jhahu public charitable trust, Surat jilla vysya maha sanmelan.
